These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Happens Limited website and your purchase of products through it. By accessing or using our site and/or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Happens Limited is a New Zealand registered company. Our principal business is the sale and distribution of bamboo-based paper products. All references to "we", "us", and "our" refer to Happens Limited.
2. Application of Terms
By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Returns Policy, and any other terms and conditions available on our website (collectively referred to as the "Agreement"). These Terms apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content. If you do not agree to the Terms, you must immediately cease accessing the site.

6.1 Customers may opt into recurring deliveries through a subscription model.
6.2 Subscription fees will be charged at the frequency agreed upon. We will send advance notice prior to billing.
6.3 Customers may manage their subscriptions at any time via their online account.
6.4 We reserve the right to cancel any subscription at our discretion and will issue a refund for any undelivered goods.
7. Delivery
7.1 Deliveries are available within New Zealand only. Delivery timeframes are indicative and not guaranteed.
7.2 We are not responsible for delays caused by courier services or unforeseen circumstances.
7.3 It is your responsibility to provide accurate delivery information. We are not liable for failed delivery due to incorrect details.
7.4 Risk in the products passes to you upon delivery. You should inspect products upon receipt and report any issues promptly.
8. Returns and Refunds
8.1 Our returns and refunds policy comply with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. If a product is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.
8.2 If you change your mind about a purchase, you may request a return within 14 calendar days of delivery. Returned items must be unused, in the original condition and packaging, with proof of purchase. A maximum of two rolls may be used and still qualify for a return. Gift cards are non-refundable.
8.3 To initiate a return, please email us at info@happens.co.nz with your order number, photos of the product (if opened or damaged), and an optional explanation. Returns must be approved prior to sending and returns received without approval may not be accepted.
8.4 If your item is damaged, defective, or incorrect upon delivery, please contact us immediately. In such cases, return shipping will be covered by Happens Limited.
8.5 For approved returns, refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 working days of receiving and inspecting the returned items. Processing times may vary depending on your bank. If you have not received your refund within 15 working days of our confirmation, please contact us.
8.6 For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for return shipping costs. These are non-refundable. For items valued over NZD $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping method or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt without tracking.

Returns & Refunds Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Happens Limited. If for any reason you're not happy, we’re here to help.
1. Returns
We offer a 14-day return policy. This means you have 14 calendar days from the date of delivery to request a return.
To be eligible for a return:
• Items must be unused, in the same condition you
received them, and in their original packaging.
• A maximum of two rolls can be used (we get
it, curiosity happens).
• Proof of purchase is required.
• Gift cards are non-refundable.
To initiate a return, please email info@happens.co.nz with:
• Your order number.
• Photos of the product (if opened or damaged).
• A short explanation (optional, but helpful for
us to improve!).
Once approved, we’ll provide you with return instructions. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.
2. Damaged or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your items are damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us immediately so we can sort it out quickly. In these cases, return shipping will be covered by us.
3. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.
If approved:
Your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 working days.
Depending on your bank, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account.
If more than 15 working days have passed since we confirmed your refund and it hasn't appeared, please contact us at info@happens.co.nz.
4. Return Shipping Costs
For change-of-mind returns, return shipping is at your expense and non-refundable.
If a return is due to our error (e.g., damaged or incorrect items), we’ll cover return shipping.
If your return is over NZD $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping method or purchasing shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee receipt of returns without tracking.
